Jeetaay is an informal phone-in, e-mail or text-in talk show where you contact the studio and chat with the presenter about anything and everything. However, for the next few months (as from January 2019), we will be giving a new twist to this show. For the next few months, Seereer Radio's presenters will be bringing up topics on Seereer Radio Presenters' WhatsApp group chat to be discussed each week by all our presenters and special guests.
Our presenters rotate each week and take the role of main presenter. The main presenter will then bring up topics to be discussed by his/her co-presenters. Discussions closes by 15:00 GMT every Wednesday. These audio messages are then edited and broadcast on Seereer Radio every Thursday night at 21:00 GMT. The entire show is by WhatsApp - 100%. There will be little editing prior to broadcasting on Seereer Radio because we want to keep the raw and authentic feel of a typical WhatsApp group chat. We are currently experimenting with some of our shows using WhatsApp. We are one of the first Senegambian radio stations (online or frequency) to use this format -100%. WhatsApp is one of the major messaging services used by most Senegambians. We will be utilising this format once a week for the next couple of months mixed with our usual live broadcast format.

With ECOWAS Heads of State accepting Morocco's membership in principle to the West African Bloc, the panel also discussed the hypocrisy of ECOWAS in accepting a North African Arabized nation, yet rejecting Haiti's application whose people we share historical, cultural, racial and religious heritage with. The panel asks: Why has our West Africans leaders allowed this to happen? What is the motivation for allowing an Arab League country who we have no racial or cultural relation with yet rejecting Haity who we have close ties with? Is France behind this? What is Senegal's role in this? What role did the Senegalese Muslim Brotherhoods play in this? Are we (Africans) morally weak to allow this heresy to happen? Should the Bloc be dismantled altogether and start a fresh - which serves the interest of Black Africans and Blacks from the Diaspora? If a fellow Black nation like Haiti cannot join, yet ECOWAS in its wisdom decided to accept a non-Black nation like Morocco, should the Bloc be dismantled altogether? Additional information : With regret, the second portion of this show was not recorded. We thought it was being recorded but it was on pause. This was a mistake on our side to which we sincerely apologise for. Even worst, the second part was when we had a detailed interview with Sukai Dahaba (X) where she gave a detailed account regarding her traumer in the hands of Yayah Jammeh's enablers when she was captured as part of the 9th May 2016 demonstrators in The Gambia. In that portion she also mentioned some of Jammeh's enablers. We apologise for this error on our part and will endeavour our utmost to bring Sukai Dahaba on the show again for a more detailed interview.
