Following the recent events in Senegal where the leader of the Pastef Party - Ousmane Sonko has been accused of rape by Adja Sarr (or Adji Sarr), Seereer Radio's journalist Macaire Ndiaye spoke with Assane Diop, Pastef's coordinator for Rufisque about the allegations, among other things relating to their party and Senegalese politics. Tamsier had already finished the Morning Ride Show, and then the Drive Time Show few minutes before results started to come out later in the afternoon (see our previous Morning Ride and Drive Time Shows) and had to go back on air to take the results on-air. On this show, Tamsier Joof (broadcasting from London, UK) is joined by Demba Sene and Moussoukoro Sidibé (in Senegal) to partake in a live press conference with the Honourable Halifa Sallah in The Gambia. Not only did Mr. Sallah held his press conference very late, the new Gambian government they didn't have the logistics in place for an international conference.
